Happy 2012!

Well, as you've probably noticed, I've been on hiatus. As the saying goes, "Best laid plans of mice and men" (i.e., I didn't get back into blogging earlier like I had hoped).

No promises for this year, but I am going to try to do better. Hopefully bring you up to speed with pictures and the goings-on of the people in my life. Here is the cliff notes version: Jay spent close to 2 months in the fall travelling through Russia, Thailand, Mongolia & Singapore. He then spent Christmas weekend in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada (what a beautiful place!) and, to end his year, quit his full-time to work contract jobs so he can travel more in 2012.

As per his usual photographic excellence, he took some gorgeous pictures. Here are a few from Quebec City with his earlier trip pictures to follow another day.



Luci is engaged to a wonderful guy and hopes to get married in the fall of 2012. I'm so excited she's met someone!

Sam is, well, Sam. He hit the jackpot at Christmas with all things Starbuck's so he is definitely the resident coffee expert! Seth & Krista are chugging along and doing well. Dave & I couldn't ask for awesomer (is that a word?) kids!

I started the new year working (big surprise, huh?). I like to think that, one day, 2 jobs will not be the norm so here's hoping.

And so I end with a favorite saying from a long-time flying friend, "Whiskey Bravo", "Ta For Now"!
