"Black Friday" Weekend

"Black Friday" is traditionally the day after Thanksgiving when so many people shop and spend money that stores "go into the black" because they make a profit. While not going out on Friday and braving way too many people, we did go to a local mall on Saturday to see their decorations.

Although busy, parking spots were not hard to find and stores weren't stuffed full of people.

Although hard to see, the center of the mall is set up to duplicate "The Polar Express" movie with various scenes and characters from the movie (there was a kid walking around in a conductor's uniform and assorted other characters), as well as the traditional spot for talking with Santa and getting pictures taken.
